Be the truck, Democrats!!!

There's some fuss over Democrat congressman Alan Grayson's ad that calls his opponent Taliban Dan.  I'm the Depressed Indianan and I approve these message in this blog.   It's time to start calling the teapartiers, Conservatives, and the Republicans on their shit. For too long they make us look bad, and we let them.   We have been called unpatriotic, treasonous, useless, foolish, and several other derogatory terms.   Remember?

It's unpatriotic to question the president's motives, and  Britney Spears said so for crying out loud.  Remember what happened to the Dixie Chicks when they said they were sorry George W Bush was a Texan?  

They say this is a "Christian" nation when there is a line in the constution about no religious tests.  I've seen the letters in my local paper, claiming this is a Christian nation, wanting to outlaw other religions.   I'm an atheist, and i have set foot in Protestant churches. I spent a lot of sundays in a Baptist Church. I  read the Bible and do not believe it was divinely inspired, so much as it was written in a time when humanity did not understand how the world around them worked.    Religion and Gods are the pitiful attempt to explain how the world worked when SOAP was cutting edge technology.   Your Bible repeatedly contradicts itself.  You're taking moral advice from people who think women are property and that couldn't conceive of computers, cellphones and Facebook.    

They say Atheists can't be good citizens.  I get to read this dribble in my local paper too, about how America is Christian.   I'd bet my favorite purse that most of these clowns have never met an atheist.   Theocracies, like Saudi Arabia and Iran can be scary places to live, there are religious police and your freedoms are limited.   We need to call them on their shit.  Every last word, everything is on tape, in Facebook, crosposted to blogs.  Everytime they call us unamerican traitiors, socialists. Every motherfucking time.    It's not a smear to be called on the shit you throw. 

Christine O'Donnell is running for Senate and CANNOT think of Supreme Court Cases she disagreees with offhand! I think Kelo vs. New London was a bad calll AS WELL as Citzens United.  I also disapprove of the current attempts to dismantle Roe v. Wade ... A fetus may very well be a person but time has to pass before it can survive outside of the womb, at least 26 weeks.  A fetus does not own the body of a woman, and it is the woman who should always come first.  I have no right to make decisions on how others conduct their lives, and they don't get to tell me how many children i should have.

I don't get what it is with people like Ken Buck and his personhood amendment to  make the Pill illegal. I guarantee that women will leave Colorado in carpools to get the Pill. This brings back the possibilty of back-alley abortions, more abandoned babies, more women dying in childbirth,  more people having children they can't care for that might be abused or neglected ... 

Who is Ken Buck to tell me when I have to have a child?   Who the fuck does Sharron Angle think she is wanting women who have been made pregnant by abusers and rapists to have to carry that   reminder with them?  Why are there so many people who have time to care what a person or couple does in the privacy of their bedroom, for crying out loud??  

 Where do they FIND these people and why is Jesus always talking to them? I also wonder why Jesus doesn't talk to me, and if he did ... shit might motherfucking change!
