No tea to be had here

I wish I could say that I get the rationale of the tea party but i don't.

I  don't get where these people were when  George W. Bush was declaring wars on the Muslim World, passing tax cuts to benefit his rich friends, not only spending all the dimes that had been nailed down and spending dimes that have yet to be minted.    I don't get why people blame Obama for TARP when  W. signed the law befow Obama so much as turned on the lights in the Oval Office.

It's not a tax hike when you end a bad law that you cannot affford to keep.   Currently the top tax rate for income is 39 percent although i am told that under President Eisenhower it was something like 90 percent... holy cow.

I don't get how people can believe how a man who smokes, drinks beer and eats hot dogs can be muslim, I was under the impression Muslims did not eat pork nor do they consume alcohol.  I don't get what makes the Obama birth certificate i have seen on the news "fake". His is different than mine, but i have an Indiana certificate. My father's birth certificate is on another form and my mother's is another different form although she was born on a US Army base somewhere in Europe.  All these forms basically have the same information, but my father's form has more info than mine.

Sometimes  I wonder if it's because they think Hawai'i is a concocted fairytale sort of place like Xanadu, Avalon or Andalasia.

I don't get how you can be a "small-government conservative"  when you want to legislate how people can live, love, what church they must go to, and what colour they should paint their house.
